Desert Shores RV Resort is a luxury Class-A only resort located in the Palm Springs/Indio area. They only allow Class-A diesel coaches that are between 36’-45’ in length. The lots are huge here with an average of 7,000 square feet and villas at 1,200 square feet. The lots are privately owned here and you can expect all the amenities of a first-class resort. They do not allow weekend rentals, so be sure you plan accordingly and book well in advance.

Emerald Desert RV Resort is also located in the Palm Desert area of Southern California. It is also a 5-star resort but does not restrict the type of RVs (so it’s not Class A only), but does require them to be self-contained and in good shape.  They do allow children but are mainly an adult-oriented RV Resort. One caution we heard about is there seem to be a lot of red fire ants on the property which can be bad for pets but short-term stays seem to be fine here.
