19 Best Luxury RV Resorts in Florida for Class A Big Rig RVs

Aztec RV Resort

We recently upgraded to a Newmar 44 foot Class A RV and wanted to find some of the best luxury RV Resorts in Florida to visit. Many of the RV Resorts cannot accommodate Class A Big Rigs like ours, so I created a list showing where they all are located in Florida.

The 19 Best Luxury RV Resorts in Florida for Class A Big Rigs

There are 19 luxury RV Resorts in Florida that can accommodate Class A Big Rigs and others are in development. These luxury RV Resorts are spread throughout Florida and specifically cater to Class A Big Rig RV’s.

  • 11 are on the West Coast from the Panhandle in the north stretching south to Naples
  • 3 are on the East Coast
  • 2 in the center of the state
  • 3 are in the Florida Keys

Wouldn’t it be great to plan a trip through Florida visiting these resorts next winter? I created a route through the state that shows the locations of Big Rig RV Resorts by each area of the state. Read on to plan your tour of luxury RV Resorts in Florida.

Not all RV parks can be considered RV Resorts. Not sure what an RV Resort is? You might be surprised at the differences we found in Motorcoach Resorts.

RV Resort rates change frequently based on season and availability. Also, some resorts offer special discounted rates, so I’ve listed their websites. Clicking on those links will take you directly to their websites for the most current rate and availability information.

RV Resorts on the North West Coast of Florida- Panhandle

Starting in the Northwest corner of Florida, let’s take a tour of all the RV Resorts that can accommodate Class A Motorcoaches as we head south in order of location.

The Florida Panhandle is very different than the rest of the state. Most people think of Florida as being very tropical, but this part of the state has more of a southern flair like Georgia or Alabama. Often called “Old Florida”, this section of the state offers plenty of forested land that is rimmed in the south by beautiful beaches. You might hike in the forest one day, and lay on the beach the next.

If you love the waters of the Gulf Coast, there are 12 Texas RV Resorts that you might enjoy.

Note that I excluded any parks that could not easily accommodate the size and access needed for Big Rigs and any of those with 55+ age restrictions
