We were looking for a place to camp in our RV in the New England area, and a friend recommended Normandy Farms as one of his favorites.
We never heard of Normandy Farms before, but after we did some research and learned about this award-winning park, we decided to give it a try.
Normandy Farms is One of The Best Campgrounds in New England
This gated campground has consistently the Perfect 10/10/10 honors by Good Sam, an achievement that is not easy to get!
In addition to that award, there are many others. This campground was even voted one of the top campgrounds in the world by the Travel Channel. We had to check it out for ourselves.
Normandy Farm Camping Resort Facilities and Amenities- Much More Than Expected
This 100+ acre park offers more amenities in one place than we have seen in any park we have stayed at!
The recreation lodge is a 20,000 square foot building that houses an arcade, a complete fitness center next to an indoor pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi, and even has an Adult Loft to relax away from the kids!
As we wandered through the park grounds, we saw lots of other fun things to do, here are some of the highlights.
Fantastic Bike Park
This is a great park for bicycle enthusiasts. Their bike park has a pump track, jump line, and skills area. Additionally, there’s a challenging 23 miles of trails through the Foxboro State Forest for the professional trail riders.
Complete Concierge Center
A first-class concierge center will help you make reservations and plans outside the camp, even before you arrive!
Creative Arts Center With Yoga and Massage
They have a gaming area in the recreation lodge and in addition to nightly movies, they also have yoga and other activities. You can even arrange for a massage on the property!
18-Hole Disc Golf
They have a challenging Disc Golf course that winds through the woods in a beautiful setting.
Freedom Tail Dog Park
The dog park is a fantastic 1.5 acres complete with a dog wash, agility equipment, and dog drinking fountains.
One of the most unusual and outstanding features that Normandy Farms offers dog owners that we have never seen before in other campgrounds is their “Canine Coop”. These are private kennels complete with little runs and dog houses that you can leave your dog in while sightseeing or using the park facilities.
If you decide to leave your dog in your RV instead, they can even arrange to have your dog walked for you!
Restaurant On-Site
There is a small takeout restaurant on-site serving breakfast, lunch, and even ice cream. We tried the sandwiches and they were pretty good!
Fish Pond For the Anglers
The property has a fully stocked pond for catch and release fishing.

Normandy Farms Is In A Great Location
Located in Foxboro, MA between Cape Cod and Boston, Normandy Farms offers easy access for day trips. We took the subway into Boston (based on the friendly suggestions from staff) and had a great day enjoying the sites and food!
Types of RVs Allowed At Normandy Farms
This campground allows all types of RVs and tent camping. We saw every type of RV including more like our Class A, and Fifth-Wheels, pop-ups, and even Super C’s.
RV Sites At Normandy Farms
The RV sites are pull-through gravel sites. There was plenty of room for our Class A and tow vehicle and room between the sites
Rentals Available
If you want to leave your RV at home, you can rent cabins, yurts or even safari tents!
The Best Service At An RV Campground
The service we experienced at Normandy Farms was among the most professional and friendly we have ever had.
They respect state COVID safety protocol and are practicing social distancing and sanitizing guidelines and are very happy to help in any way. We were very impressed with their professionalism!
Campground Pricing At Normandy Farms
The rates are not cheap here though, which can be expected given the limited season and the enormous number of amenities. We paid over $100 per night during our weekend visit. Check their website for current prices.
Would We Recommend Normandy Farms Family Campground?
Yes, we would definitely recommend Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort especially if you have kids and pets. Basically, if you can’t find something to do here you just haven’t looked around the grounds!
